Mission Statement

It is the primary mission of Treasury Management and Financial Reporting to:

  • Provide monthly reconciliations of the University's state and local funds in a timely manner.
  • Manage cash balances cost effectively so that University obligations are adequately funded and idle cash is invested.
  • Record and allocate interest earnings from investments held with the State Treasury.
  • Provide accurate and timely reporting of University financial matters to the appropriate internal and external recipients.
  • Establish and maintain procedures to ensure the University's debt service obligations are paid timely and reserve requirements are adequately funded.
  • Establish ACH capabilities with outside vendors for the receipt of payments.
