Credit cards can make you live beyond your means. Remember the prize after you complete you education. Avoid the temptation to over extend your credit cards while you are in school. It does become tempting to try to live like your friends that have not gone to school and have full time jobs. They will be getting things that you wish you had, such as a new car or a Jet Ski. Remember, the benefits of an education will payoff in the future. Your nonschool friends may have a lot now, but they will not have one thing that will give you an advantage later on, and that is a college education. Studies show that people with a college education make approximately 75% more than those with just a high school diploma do.
