Year End Calendar 2008

The 2007-2008 Fiscal Year End closing calendar is now available. To ensure that your transactions are processed and included in the financial records prior to fiscal year end, it is crucial that departments observe the deadlines scheduled on the calendar.

New Queries Available for Centers/Institutes, Property Managers

Two queries have recently been developed to further assist departmental users in obtaining useful financial data from the OMNI system. The first, FSU_DPT_CTR_INST_ANNUAL_EXP provides summarized information on annual operating expenditures to help Centers and Institutes complete their year-end BOG reports. The second query, FSU_DPT_AM_ASSET_ACQ_CUSTODIAN, was developed in order to generate detailed acquisition and custodial (i.e. offsite to) information for Property Managers and other departmental personnel that have responsibilities related to assets. OMNI Business Intelligence to Serve as New Reporting Tool

OMNI Business Intelligence (OBI), the new OMNI reporting system, is available as the home for all Human Resources reports that were previously available only in Business Objects. Available Budget reports can also be run in OBI and ledger reports are coming soon.

OMNI Role Requests Now Online

The Online Role Request (eORR) application is now available in OMNI HR for security role changes in both HR and Financials. Access to the Online Role Request application is also available on the OMNI portal page.

Paper forms for security role changes in OMNI HR and OMNI Financials are, in general, no longer needed and any security role changes should be done via the eORR application.
