The Office of the Associate Vice President for Budget Planning & Financial Services is committed to providing efficient and effective budget planning, institutional data research and accounting services to manage the complex financial system that funds The Florida State University. To fully encompass the diverse needs of the University, there are six different independent units:

University Budget Office -- directing the planning and budgeting cycle, providing information for internal planning and the decision-making process, and facilitating the reporting requirements of the University

Institutional Research -- assisting executive management and the university community by providing reliable, relevant, quality data to facilitate planning, budgeting, accountability, institutional assessment, program evaluation, and the development of policy decisions

Office of the Controller -- dedicated to the basic accounting functions that run the day to day business of the University

Sponsored Research Accounting -- providing an effective contract and grant accounting management system

FSU Foundation Accounting -- enhancing the academic vision and priorities of The Florida State University through its organized fundraising activities and funds management

Research Foundation Accounting -- facilitating sound financial management and providing assistance to the research and training activities of faculty, staff and students
